Grab your boots and bandanas and round up your friends for a fun-filled week as we head out West to Wonder Junction @ Mossy Grove Baptist Church!
There’s no greater joy than to praise the name of the Lord all day long. But how can "yer" kids do that if they don’t know who Jesus is or what He’s done for them?
Our theme verse this year is "From the rising of the sun to the going down of the same The Lord's name is to be praised." Psalm 113:3 KJV. This week your children will learn what it is to praise and worship The Lord as well as the "why" of praising and worshiping The Lord.
Here at Wonder Junction, we marvel at Jesus and live for His glory.
- Monday we will check out the amazing things that happened around Jesus' Birth.
- Tuesday will be an exciting night for our children to get to know what Jesus was like as a child and teenager.
- Wednesday night we will see some astonishing moments that happened during Jesus' ministry years.
- Thursday our children will get to learn about Jesus' death, burial, resurrection, and His return.
- Friday will be our family night where our church will be open for family and friends to attend with their children while we review our week @ Wonder Junction.
Did you realize that 1 in 4 baptisms come about because of positive Vacation Bible School experiences? This special week is so important in ministering and teaching our young children and youth about the saving grace of Jesus Christ!
Coordinating an event of this magnitude requires organization and planning. ALL ages are called upon to invite children and youth to attend. Adults of all ages serve as teachers, workers, and helpers. All church members bring in packaged cookies and drink boxes for nightly snacks. Clean up before and after the event involves everyone as well.
This event is bathed in prayer for weeks and months prior to the big week inviting Jesus to be part of the fun and excitement. We pray that God will make this a powerful week of ministry. We also pray that the Lord will touch hearts and that individuals will make decisions that will have a positive effect on them for the rest of their lives.
Vacation Bible School (VBS) is an exciting time at Mossy Grove! It is a time when ALL age groups--from young children to senior adults--come together with the single purpose of showing God's love for everyone! Planning for VBS starts in late winter/early spring and continues right up until the actual event. Our teachers and leaders are so excited to have your children join us for this week and look forward to sharing the love of Jesus!
